What is a cone (mask game)?

It is said to be the highest peak in Thai traditional dance, a masked dance drama called corn.

It plays the story of "Ramakien" originating from Indian epic "Ramayana".

It seems that it was once played only inside the court, the actor masks and the story develops with a story of a story department.

It is also characterized by a powerful foot stepping similar to kabuki.

What is Lacon (dance drama)?

Rubum (Collective Dance) is a group with more than 2 name, there are Goddess · Goddess Dancing, Goddess Mealer and Asura Rama Musu dance before the curtain.

Lamb (Single dancing) There are dancing in accordance with instrument performance, dancing with weapons, dancing to the script with one person dancing. There seems to have been sometimes called Rabbam in the past.

There are nail dance, candle dance, sword dance etc in Laban which is played in the region which is collectively called Phone (northern dance).

What is the classical instrument used for dancing?

Traditional dance in Thailand is performed by a band composed of Thai classical musical instruments, usually organized around melodic percussion instruments such as xylophone with an organization of about 5 ~ 15 people.

• Ranato (xylophone)
  It is used for dance with a gentle bowed xylophone, playing a unique melody of traditional musical instruments. The shape and timbre vary depending on the region.
• Peenai (whistle)
  Classical music plays the melody of music with a flute whose size is about the soprano recorder.
• Chin (small cymbal)
  It is said that it has the role of a conductor among Thai classical musical instruments which is made of a metal small instruments carving an impressive constant rhythm.
• Tapone (drum)
  Taiko will play the basics of rhythm.
